This Privacy Notice describes how PRVNZ LLC (“PRVNZ”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit prvnz.com, scan a PRVNZ-issued passport, or interact with our platform.
1. Who we are
PRVNZ LLC is the data controller for personal data we collect through our marketing site, sales conversations, and customer accounts. For data processed on behalf of customers (for example, scan events on a passport our customer issued), we act as a data processor and the customer is the controller. The agreement between us is governed by our Data Processing Addendum.
2. What we collect
- Account and contact data — name, work email, company, role, and what you tell us when you fill in a form or speak to sales.
- Usage and device data — IP address, user agent, pages viewed, referrer, scan source. We use first-party analytics by default and avoid third-party trackers wherever possible.
- Customer-side data we process — the data our customers send us to issue, verify, or track passports and to run autonomous agents on their supply chain. We hold this only on our customers' instructions.
- Communications — emails, support tickets, and meeting notes.
3. Why we use it
- To operate the PRVNZ platform and the services our customers ask us to perform.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To improve the product, including by analyzing aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable law requires us to identify a legal basis (for example, GDPR, UK GDPR, UAE PDPL), we rely on: contract performance, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, your consent (where we ask for it), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share personal data with carefully selected sub-processors that help us run the platform — cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer support tooling, and the verification infrastructure that anchors our records. A current list is available on request. We do not sell personal data and we don't share it with advertising networks.
6. International transfers
PRVNZ operates a distributed infrastructure. Personal data may be processed in the jurisdictions where our sub-processors operate. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards — Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent mechanisms recognized by the data exporter's law.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for, plus a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. Customer-side data is retained according to the customer's instructions.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@prvnz.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
